Earth Day-Then and Now
Did you know the first Earth Day took place in the United States on April
22, 1970? On that day, 20 million Americans gathered around the country to
focus on ways to help the environment and planet. Today, Earth Day is
celebrated every April 22nd in more than 190 countries around the world.
From planting trees to recycling to conserving water, there are many ways
to help preserve our planet! How will you help on Earth Day?
